"The Education of the Future"

If our present society is to survive through the next 30 years, we are each going to have to turn inward and ask our traumatized child to awaken - and to recall for us all the knowledge that was cut off in those early years. If we cannot do that, then we must allow our outer children to do it for us. Those born after us carry the seeds of what we once lost from our Collective Consciousness. We blocked ourselves once. We dare not do it again.

Star Children naturally function from an inner place that their parents were never allowed to visit when they were young. They are gothic, they have wild imaginations, and they can focus into many realities at once. Even more important than that, they have the sense to shut up about it! Innately, they know not to push their parents too hard about the "weird stuff." Yet they deal with it, daily and regularly, with no hindrance and no fear.

It is WE who need to learn from them. Antiquated educational institutions, staffed by robotic clones with "tenure," need to be replaced with actual apprenticeship groups that can explore life skills that the kids truly believe will be of help to them. This will solve the "passion deficit" which many teachers seem to notice in their students.

By saying all of this, I am not implying that we need to do away entirely with our current educational system. That would be a "hemorrhage" that would produce panic and confusion in our society. Chances are, these new educational clans and tribes will be paraprofessional in nature, growing up around our current education system.

There are things currently happening within the home-schooling movement that will become the matrix for the education of the future. However, the curriculum must involve a learning experience for both the teachers and the students. Both age groups have clear lessons to share with the other! The egotism of age discrimination must die. As I said in Part One, these are not really children anyway. They are old, old souls. When will we begin to give them the respect their "age" deserves?

Are we seeking which "curriculums" to present to our kids in these new "Star Academies?" All we have to do is follow them out to play when they get home from school. Their "play" is really their WORK that is preparing them for what lies ahead. We can't see it because we do not reason from their perspective.

Many of the history books we cram down our kids' throats would be incredibly fascinating to young minds if we let them choose the parts of history which stimulate and interest them. We can learn and prioritize our own inquiries into history by noticing what it is that grabs the interest of our kids. Like nurses in surgery, we could benefit from standing back and simply handing tools to the real doctors of our society, taking time to explain to them (when they request information, which they will) exactly how the gadgets we have prepared for them operate. And we mustn't be surprised if they stop and re-design a few of them for us. It's the way of the New World.

"Autism and the New Kids"

It takes a village to raise a child---especially an Autistic Child. It also takes a village to nurture and sustain a vibrant, happy adult. Our tendency to close inward, and focus our lives into "nuclear families".....pretending to be separate from everything around us, is the single most destructive pattern found in Western Society. When migrating Europeans crushed and dominated the Native American cultures they encountered when they arrived on North American shores, they missed out on a major key for survival in this Land of Plenty. TRIBAL CONSCIOUSNESS.

In my series "The Imagine Nation," I lay out a proposed template for what society would look like if it was designed by Star Kids. The same type of thinking can be applied to ALL members of society who initially present themselves to be outside the "norm." We all need space to breathe and flourish. And we all need some means of SUPPORT to do this, while in our early stages of development.

The Reconnections speak about Autistic Children, and other types of Developmentally-Special Citizens as "Transitionals." Bridge People. In consciousness........they have one part of themselves planted firmly in 3D reality, while many other parts of them are busy exploring alternative states of being. They live on the edge of "here and there." It's not hard to see this when you look in their eyes. They didn't come here to be "normal." They came here to demonstrate new traits and new abilities---especially those who are referred to as "Savants."

"Guardians of the Gate"

My Dear Friends:

You will often hear, in our explanations to you, an expression that describes a matrix of focused energy which, in the Neo-Shaman, nestles right below the sternum.   The "Cinderbox" is an etheric gateway that is commonly utilized by a transitional consciousness, both to enter into the Unseen Realms or to introduce into the World of Form those various "spirit travelers" who desire to visit here.

The heat that is often generated in this area is symbolic of the passion and excitement that characterizes this place called "The Betwixt and Between."   You see, when a person dwells here, he has access to the two prime motivational forces in the Multiverse. Please let us explain!

Living in the World of Form, a being is committed to the business of achieving, experiencing, or creating a symbolic representation of some idea or truth that exists within the Mind of All That Is. It is FOCUSED existence. There are boundaries, limitations, rules, and designs for what he may or may not do. While this condition automatically creates a sense of security and purpose, it can also cause an innate sense of restlessness as well.

This is why people, in the World of Form, are constantly talking about or fighting for freedom. Their memories of life in spirit teach them that limitation is not their natural state. Therefore, though they are comfortably fitted into a nice "game format," here in the physical world, they will forever be searching for ways to get out!

The Etheric Realms are just the opposite. The beings who live there know nothing but freedom! They have no walls, no responsibilities, no jobs to perform, no mountains to climb. They wander, endlessly searching for a meaning to their random existence. To physical beings, these spirits are tiny faces, pressed against the window of the World of Form, earnestly desiring to get in.

These two "passions," the urge to be free and the desperate need for a life purpose, are the primal source of energy for the "Betwixt and Between." Each force, within it's context is equal to the original driving push that brings a baby into this world! It cannot be long denied. The Neo-Shaman is like a midwife for both sides of the Veil.

"As the World Spins"

That old chestnut of a TV soap opera is still on the air. I remember it from my childhood: "As the World Turns." My mother and sister were totally hooked on it in those days. I made fun of them, giving it the nickname "As the Stomach Turns." But that didn't matter. They remained hooked on it just the same. Then came follow-ups like "General Hospital" and "All My Children." As soap bubbles rose from TVs all over the nation, the same old story plots just kept going round and round.

Nowadays, the world doesn't really TURN in the same way it used to when I was a kid. It SPINS. Thanks to the faithful ministrations of "Spin Doctors" in politics and the world of business, story plots which once confined themselves to daytime TV have begun leaping onto the 6:00 news. Faithful Network Anchors, who we once trusted to give us our daily rendering of world events, are "retiring" in droves. Hungry newcomers line up to take their place. TV and print media, for the most part, is all about big business. The disillusioned have begun turning to "Comedy Central" for their daily update, laughing along with the likes of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. If a person doesn't laugh about this world situation, he'd have to cry. The beat goes on.

In another recent article, I discussed a New Paradigm concept which states: "Reality is in the Eye of the Beholder." My own Theory of Relativity. This month, I'd like to expand on that by adding: "The Interpretation of Reality is Subject to the Bias of Those Reporting It." What Einstein did to the concept of "Objectivity" in Science, humanity must now do to its Realms of Personal Experience. We're Citizens of the Multiverse now. In the Multiverse, there is a universe which honors every idea imaginable, and then some. This means, in short, that a person no longer needs to ask himself: "What does this mean?" Instead, he can look at something and ask himself: "What do I WANT this to mean?"

Humanity is growing up. Our News Commentators (not all, but many of them)have stopped telling us what's happening in the world. Now they tell us what THEY WANT US TO THINK is happening, and then watch what we do. Remember that movie "Wag the Dog?" It's truer than we might like to think. When I saw it, the people in my theater laughed in all the right places. But they were nervous laughs, because we realized how much of what was being portrayed is actually happening. This is why the media takes so many polls and surveys. They don't want to know what we think. They want to know HOW WE THINK, so they can form and fashion how their manipulations will work. Consumers are like lab rats, living in cages built by Government and Big Business, kept alive by our own lack of willingness to take conscious command of our lives. MORE
