GATHERING THE CLANS AND TRIBES

An amazing experience! Each year I swear there are no words to describe these gatherings, yet each year I try. There were MANY of you there with us---some physically, and many in the ethers. I thank you for that. To tackle a theme this pervasive and important, we needed all the help we could get.
Sedona was a perfect place for this work. And I was very glad we ended up at Briar Patch Inn, rather than Inn of Sedona, which was proposed in the Spring. Once again, dear Nina came through with flying colors---locating an ideal setting for our gathering. These cottages (and our big meeting house) were located in Oak Creek Canyon (one of the vortexes), right on the river. Breakfast was served every morning so guests could go out and eat by the river. At the meeting house, we could make all the noise we wanted (and we surely made some!).
MIXING AND MINGLING OF ENERGIES
There is always a nice assortment of folks at these events. Spirit knows the kind of representation we need. As I say to folks when we begin the process, the word "Conclave" means "with keys." It is an ecclesiastical term, which refers to a gathering of Cardinals to elect a new Pope when the old one dies. We just went through this ritual, not too long ago, with Pope Benedict.
In the Reconnections sense, it refers to various Recon Members who feel called to come to absorb and deposit gifts and powers, so they can further this work and Spirit's work within them. We each come bearing "keys" to unlock learning in the others. And, indeed, this year was no exception. Such talent we had! It didn't take long for me to realize that I wasn't the "whole show" here. And I was deeply impressed with their ability and willingness to share. It was truly a cavalcade of giftedness.
This year, we had four alumni back with us: Martha from Spain, Kassie from Florida, Ann from Toronto, and Suzanne from Victoria, B.C. Their collective enthusiasm and vigor sparked the group from the very beginning. Most others arrived with cheerful and expectant hearts. A few members were still grappling with the intense influx of energies lately, and their honest sharing of where they were added to the communal spirit, and sparked additional healing all around.
Our daily schedule of group sessions was 10am to 1pm, followed by a long break so that people could visit local vortexes and spend one-on-one time with each other. We reconvened after dinner (7pm to 10pm) to process our experiences and complete our group work for the day. We toned, we sang, we shared from the Langauge of Light, practiced Conscious Breath Work, and generally fell into each other's arms. Some need time apart, between sessions, to regroup. These Conclaves are powerful, and the internal buzzing can be overwhelming at times.
The tonal spectrum for these events ranges from those who are Conceptuals, oriented more to talking and intellectual considerations, and it moves to those who are Deep Experientials, preferring movement and non-verbal connection. Most folks fall somewhere between these extremes. We make room for it all. In consideration of the Community of the Future, there are many tangible issues to consider: Relationships, Authority, Children and Parenthood, Economy, etc. We touched on many of these areas, being careful to weave in movement, sound and energy healing to balance our utilization of intellect.
"I NEED, I NEED........."
At one point, a group member stood up and walked around the room, saying to us: "I need, I need." This was a powerful symbolism, being used as an antidote for those of us who join groups pretending we have no needs, wanting only to serve, and declining to feel. My friend Antron, the Shaman, had never attended a Conclave before. As he drove towards the event, he was calling me on the phone, telling me of the work he was already doing with all of us on the inner planes. Indeed, that "work" paid off, big time! Not only were our people ready to do BIG BUSINESS with Spirit, but Antron got blessed, right down to his socks. He told me later: "I've been to a lot of group events, but never anything like this!"
RICH, RICH, RITUAL
Three Devas from Florida joined another Power Deva from the Central U.S. to lead the group in sacred ritual and ceremony. One of them had the ability to sing just like a dolphin, as she demonstrated for us a rare form of "sonic healing," activating our souls right down to the core. Another member had just returned from the Ascension Ceremony in New Mexico, and he would give invocations to us in various Light Language Dialects. His heart was so full that the love just overflowed.
We all share a HUNGER for group interact. It's a natural longing for Community. The recent influx of Energy Activations on the Earth had left a lot of us feeling solitary and hurting. It seemed, for a time, that all we could do was to balance ourselves, meditate, and hope for better times. With this Conclave, better times surely arrived.
One evening, we gathered at sunset near the trailhead at Boynton Canyon. We created our circle, and gathered elementals for our centering point. I let the Goddesses carry the ball here, and it was wonderful. At one point, Antron looked up at the sky and said: "Oh my, you guys, take a look at the gift that is gathering up there to greet us!"
As we gazed up, we noticed a ribbon pattern of a rainbow, moving through a group a clouds. In very short order, this ribbon became two patterns, which clearly resembled space ships. They were like two bowler hats, tipping outward, filled with rainbow color. As we all stood amazed, these ships converged, to create a rainbow heart in the sky. I've never seen anything like it, and I'm quite certain it was put there just for us. (Leos think that way, you know........) It was a fitting conclusion for our vortex adventure on that night.
By the way, before the Conclave began, Antron and I visited Boynton Canyon, the Pataki Ruins, to complete a journey we began 12 years ago. On December 12, 1994 (the very first 12:12 Activation), we led a group of people to Boynton Canyon for celebration of the opening of a powerful Star Gate. Now, some 12 years later, we met there again at a little-known local wonder called "The Vagina." It is part of the ruins and pictographs..........an opening in the rock that looks just like female genitalia. Being enthusiastic worshippers of same (!).......Antron and I thanked Gaia for giving birth to us, and for blessing our group with such powerful examples of feminine power.
UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Energy begins and ends its cycles in the breath. Whether we are moving to the rhythm, singing, or simply allowing in Conscious Ventilation, our group was regularly rocked by the music that was welling up our souls. Part of that experience is our continued focus on the theme of Spiritual Gifts in the Oneself Body of Humanity. These gifts manifest in many ways. The material that was offered by the Reconnections is a start, but we can never fully known what the core motivation of our souls is until we spring into action and begin serving. The Conclave launched these basic concepts anew. I look forward to seeing where all of this goes.
Our theme books featured detailed descriptions of the the 12 Gifts---7 grounding gifts and 5 bridge tones. (these are also available on the site) I emphasized that this is just a bare outline, and we are very willing to consider more. One of the group, Steve from Toronto, has 10 years experience working with muscle testing techniques. At one point, he offered some demonstrations, going over the list of 12 with anyone who asked, testing to determine key motivations they could try on and examine more closely.
Takara, from Dancing Dolphin Flower Essences in New Mexico, had provided for us (at no charge) a group essence, called "Gathering the Clans and Tribes." She then assembled for us a group of 12 essences, based on descriptions I had given her, which highlighted the qualities of each of the Spiritual Gifts. Steve muscle tested on those as well, with great success. The complete set is available from Dancing Dolphin, at a discount price. I highly recommend it as a tool for assisting folks in local areas to find and identify with their key motivations.
Our final session, before Closing, was a Group Rebirthing. I always look forward to these, because this technology provides each person (who desires to participate) with an opportunity to invoke innate emotion and heightened awareness, in the exact proportion he or she is ready to receive. Some folks have wild excitations, and others have gentle buzzing and sweet ecstasy. It's all designed to be a womb of security, wherein everyone can expand the experiential journey at a pace that feels appropriate. Naturally, the experience has a profound binding effect on the Group Spirit. This is why we include it at the end of our journey together.
The Closing Circle is always precious to me. We feature the work of local music artists, and our Clans and Tribes theme led us to Three Trees, sound healer of Sedona. Together, with his friends John Dumas, master flute player and didgeridoo artist.......and Carrie Konyha, Sacred Dancer......we literally ROCKED the place! Wow! I can still feel the pulse of those drums, and the deep drone of John's Didge. A sweet time was had by all.
This gathering in Sedona is just a bare bones beginning. The Gathering of Clans and Tribes is happening all over the Earth. Currently, humanity is using many conjoined universes to do it---bringing in leaders from indigenous tribes all across time, ascended masters, and many other powerful forces to assist us. For each person, the transition to Oneself Community happens differently. No doubt there will come a time when physical associations and alliances will be formed---united around principles listed in these articles, as well as our material on Spiritual Gifts. In the meantime, all who resonate with these pages might want to consider the words of Rachel Snyder's powerful poem. It seems to say it all. Soon, my friends. The World Needs You Now
The world needs you now.
More than you know.
More than you can imagine.
The world needs your gifts.
Your heart. Your compassion.
Your understanding. Your ability to
listen, to speak, to feel and to act.
The gifts that only you can give, in the way
that you and you alone can give them.
The time for holding back is over.
The time for believing that you are not good enough,
not ready enough, not wise enough, has passed.
The time for fearing that you are too good,
too powerful, too magnificent, too intelligent,
no longer exists.
You have run out of excuses.
You have exhausted every reason why you cannot be
exactly who you were placed here to be.
Your usual distractions no longer distract.
Your strategies for staying small, for resisting the call
to awaken, are dead.
The world needs you now.
More than you know.
In the Great Circle of Life, a space has been held for you
since before Time began.
As you wandered, as you explored, your shoes waited,
marking your place. No one else approached, for
these shoes can only be filled by you. You agreed
to step into them when you were ready to take
your rightful place on the Circle.
And now, you are ready.
You are bored with your own self-absorption.
Now, at the exact moment that the world needs you,
you have uncovered and recovered and discovered
enough so that your authentic self can see
the light of day.
So that you can step into the shoes that have been
waiting for you since before time began.
For you are an essential ingredient, without which
Creation is incomplete.
Global harmony rests in the palm of your hand.
Planetary peace will simply not be attained without
your heart, your mind, your spirit.
No one else has been assigned the job of picking
up the ball that lay at your feet.
The world needs you and the world needs you now.
More than you know.
More than you can ever imagine.
