SRI LANKA, INDONESIA, INDIA, SUMATRA. THAILAND...........HELP!!!

CHILDREN ARE THE HARDEST HIT BY THE EARTHQUAKE AFTERMATH (click here)

Clearly...this weekend, for me, was a visit to a host of internal family energies--with some fine times of togetherness with my sons.  My sister, although far away in Arkansas, was especially ebullient with her love and sweetness.  "You are my light," she said.  And I sent love back to her.  We've been through a lot, she and I--especially since the early 80s when our folks died.  It was nice to reach out for her and receive so much in return.

I saw the 3 of us tiptoe through a variety of old family patterns--some of which delighted me, and some of which made me angry with myself.  I was all about food preparation and celebratory stuff.  They were not into that at all.  I spent a bunch of time buying and making fancy dishes in the kitchen.  They were only into sliced ham, fritos, and veggie dip.  I sure could have a saved a bunch of money and labor if I'd tuned into that!  <s>  But it was not to be.  We danced with it all anyway.  I did a helluva lot of dishes, and packed away food for the rest of the year. One of my favorite times with them is taking off on Christmas Eve, after dinner--stopping at Starbuck's for a Gingerbread Latte, and looking at the elaborate displays of lights that people put on their lawns for the holidays.  We have some of our best talks, and we love touring the neighborhood to see what's up.

It was very self-contained, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  When Jeffrey went back to his place on Sunday Afternoon, I was left to return to my own view of the unfolding world picture, and try to relate what had been going on with me/us in the small context and what was happening in the rest of the world......Macro Me, as I might call it.  I emerged from our little  "cocoon" to discover immense holocausts of pain and death that had been happening in the world.  What happened in Asia, India, and Sumatra made our Florida Hurricanes look like skiing the bunny slopes at Snoqualmie Summit.  My Goddess!  Such pain, death and destruction!

Marina Beach--Madras, India

The symbolism of intense weather always speaks about EMOTION to me, as the EM-OCEAN begins to rip and roar.  I know that the Oneself Goddess is not pleased.  There have been massive infusions of Cosmic Energy into the mindspace of Planet Earth, and the turbulence this is causing is reflected in the passing of all these people.  And yes, once again....another Exodus of Souls.....departing the planet as the next phases of our expansion to power begin.

Romans 12:15 - Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

"Light one candle for the maccabee children
With thanks that their light didn't die
Light one candle for the pain they endured
When their right to exist was denied
Light one candle for the terrible sacrifice
Justice and freedom demand
But light one candle for the wisdom to know
When the peacemaker's time is at hand

Chorus:
Don't let the light go out!
It's lasted for so many years!
Don't let the light go out!
Let it shine through our love and our tears.

Light one candle for the strength that we need
To never become our own foe
And light one candle for those who are suffering
Pain we learned so long ago
Light one candle for all we believe in
That anger not tear us apart
And light one candle to find us together
With peace as the song in our hearts

(chorus)

What is the memory that's valued so highly
That we keep it alive in that flame?
What's the commitment to those who have died
That we cry out they've not died in vain?
We have come this far always believing
That justice would somehow prevail
This is the burden, this is the promise
This is why we will not fail!

(chorus)

Don't let the light go out!
Don't let the light go out!
Don't let the light go out!

From "Light One Candle," by Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Some of you know how deeply I love folk music--especially the lifelong work of Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Dylan, Joan Baez, and my especially dear ones.......Peter, Paul, and Mary!   This song is mainly Israeli, as Peter is very Jewish....but it speaks words to many faiths, and many experiences we all share.

When we were in New York recently, I visited St. Patrick's Cathedral, and sat through a portion of the mass that was being said there.  Even as I scarfed down mouthfuls of lovely Jewish Deli, and sat and laughed and loved with Jews, I think the Irish Catholic in me needed a turn to remember as well.  It was a breath of life from my childhood, as I briefly went on a tour of the "Catholic Journey" I have made (or am making) across many life contexts---Priests, Archbishops, Monks, etc.--and the energy of this huge church was just enough to bring a bit of that back to me.  After the mass, we strolled around the perimeter, where there were separate altars set up for the Blessed Virgin, and also for various saints that had captured the hearts of those who build the Cathedral.  At each one, you could light a candle if you wished to.......to send up a prayer of hope and remembrance for those who had passed on, or were sick, or whatever.  In my mind, I now light a thousand candles, for all those who are suffering, or who have suffered through this Yuletide Season.  The encouragement to "sleep in heavenly peace" is not on the table for many around this globe this night.  I light that one candle, or a thousand candles, or a million.....in remembrance of those who are tossed and turned in tribulation tonight.  And I also light another thousand in thanks for those whose lives have been made brighter by the intensity of this full moon.

SORRY, EVERYBODY!

Wow.  This is really neat.  Awhile back, I became aware of this new web site http://sorryeverybody.com, with its manifold number of pictures and personalized messages to the rest of the world how ashamed and sorry a good portion of the U.S. is concerning the "rape of the American System" by the Bush Administration.  The election sham, and the notably "screw you" attitude that is coming forth from this Presidency has aroused a goodly portion of the country to begin OWNING THE SHADOW that has appeared in "good old America," and taking that message directly to our allies and to other people of good will, all around the world.  I'm speaking here of folks who have no other conscious agenda in life than to search for personal truth, allow others to have their life and their space, raise happy families, and be good stewards of the planet upon which we live.

The response to this web site has been dazzling.  There are thousands and thousands of pictures, like the one printed above, shown on the site.  They are ordinary Americans--poignant and honest in their feelings--owning the Shadow of George W. Bush, and saying "I'm sorry for this" to the rest of the world.  A very astute commentary on the site, linked within in the online magazine "Axis of Logic" is by a fellow named Mark Morford.  You can access that article here:

Equally exciting is the European Response Site that is now going up.  They are called www.apologiesaccepted.com.  It almost makes me tear up, just thinking about it.  The worldwide resonance that is happening, as a result of America's Embarrassment is, once again, lighting up that neural network that is spoken about in the transmission Open-Heart Mergery, the same network of empathy and sadness that was activated following the 9/11 is now buzzing again!

Rockefeller Center, New York

NEW YORK, NEW YORK.......

Oh Mercy!   I've been so busy in 3D that I haven't had much time to blog.  But our recent New York Workshops, and some details of our Christmas Travel simply must be shared.  The trip was originally planned as a way to meet up with my younger son, who had just moved to NYC in June.  Joe didn't seem to be coming home for the holidays, so I set up some workshops and set aside some time to hang out with him about mid-December.  Then, in a sudden reversal of plans, Joe moved back to Seattle, but the workshops kept filling up.  And so, we decided onward and Eastward.

We scheduled two events:  a one-day workshop in New Jersey, hosted by Ellen Hanauer, and a two-day event in Long Island, hosted by Michael and Leslie Caronia.  Many of the people who attended were newbies to Reconnections Material, which is doubly delightful for me.  I always maintain an attitude of:  "If you're so smart, why can't you make it simple?"  And then, I let the Guides have at 'em.  It was so much fun.  Lives began to shift, and this pervasive feeling of happiness came over the group.

Of particular note, regarding our trip to New Jersey, is my acute awareness of the remaining scar tissue in the East Coast psyche about September 11.  There were many questions to the Recons about that event, and the philosophic attitude that might develop, if a person were to begin integrating the insights of Oneness and Multi-D into the equation.  One woman asked:  "If we are the creators of our own reality, what do The Reconnections have to say about those 3,000 people who died when the Trade Center fell?"  I personally responded:  "Well, they would probably say that each of those people co-created their departure from 3D to occur in exactly the way it did."

The woman was rather shocked.  She said:  "I just can't accept that.  My nephew died in that building and, minutes before it collapsed, he called his mother on the cell phone--crying, and told her he didn't want to die."  My heart melted.  This was not a debate we were having.  This was a true experience of Open-Heart Mergery.  I didn't argue. I simply looked at her and said:  "I don't blame you one bit.  It was hard enough for me to fathom what happened, as I watched the whole thing on TV.  I don't know how I would handle my feelings if I was present, and heard such pain in the words of a child.

Earlier in the session, we had explored the Reconnections Bridge Concept of "The Soul Train."  We spoke about how spiritual insight makes its way into our 3D world.  First, we receive expanded tones of energy into the spirit-aspect of ourselves.  Second, these tones move to the mind, where they are down-stepped and interpreted for use in our own perceptual universe.  Third, the come in contact with our Emotional Body, where we make decisions about whether or not to believe and/or pass on the information to others.  Finally, they take on physical form--either as words on a page, verbal communication, or re-formulate themselves into some kind of object, situation, or social system.

The Soul Train is not finished with this experience of the 9/11.  Many parts of us are stuck in the Emotional Body, as we try to make sense of things.  For the West Coast, and many other parts of the world, the experience of September 11 is history.  It's a horrible thing that happened, in a moment of time, and it's in the past.  For the East Coast, the situation is quite different.  There are still open wounds, very sensitive, that exist around this subject.  A few days later, when I stood at "Ground Zero," and looked into the "pit" that was created by the explosions, I understood why.  Part of the Reconnection to Oneness, at least as it applies to the U.S., is the joining of hearts and minds around the pain that still exists in this city.  I was happy to be involved in deepening that connection.  This realization was a highlight for the Jersey Workshop--along with a delightful collection of Artwork Ellen had displayed in her art studio, where we met.  Ellen is a devout feminist, so a great deal of her work deals with an appreciation for and a realization of the emerging Goddess Energy as it returns to Planet Earth.

The Long Island Event carried a completely different emphasis.  There were a few questions about 9/11, but most of our focus was centered on the 12:12 Celebration that was going on around us. For those of you who have not studied up on Master Numbers and Numbered Energy Gates, you may want to check out the Energy Activations Sector of this site to find out more.  We also spent the latter part of Sunday playing a fantastic game, which is used for processing and expanding our Multidimensional Nature.  It is derived from a technique called "Voice Dialogue," which was originated by Hal and Sidra Stone, which I first encountered back in the early 80s, and have adapted for use with channeling in this day and age.

Both events were a picture of what can happen when people who have been strongly affected by Reconnections Transmissions decide to share the material with their friends.  At many points in the weekend, people were saying to Nina or myself:  "I don't know much about this Oneness stuff.  I'm only here because Leslie (or Ellen) was so enthusiastic about what The Guides are teaching."  Many of them added:  "If (she) likes something, I usually know that it's good."

In a way, it kind of reminds me of what happened when Jesus began his ministry, back in Galilee.  People were constantly saying to him:  "Wait a minute.  Don't teach this lesson yet.  Let me go and get my brother (or sister, or father, or friend), so he/she/they can hear this, too."  I truly believe it was that kind of enthusiasm that brought 5,000 people out onto the hillside, so they could hear the Sermon on the Mount.

Up until this trip, I would have been loathe to compare the Reconnections Work with Jesus' Ministry--even though Jesus is part of the Group Soul of the Reconnections.  It just seemed a bit extreme for me to be thinking that way.  Daniel is no Messiah, nor does he ever want to be thought of in that way. But the Bridge Concepts that the Guides are sharing--they certainly have profound value and infinite worth.  I'm just here to pass the message along--kind of like Aaron was used to convey messages from Moses to the people of Israel.  And when I see good people, like I saw this last week--opening their homes and circles of influence to an infusion of this transforming energy--it humbles me, and energizes my efforts to keep these messages flowing.

I once heard Lee Carroll speak about his early fears, when he began channeling Kryon.  A small part of him used to wonder whether or not he was just making all this stuff up.  I know what he means.  It's not entirely bad to have a skeptical side to yourself, especially when you choose NOT to go into a full trance when doing the work.  I think it adds perspective, and raises the bar for what is considered helpful and what is just a waste of time in our process of learning.

The fact remains....I have seen some things, and brought through some energies that cannot be denied.  And the letters and emotional support of regular readers to this site have also sustained me in these efforts.  I can't count the amount of times I have read e-mails from you that featured these words:  "The things you write about--they are the very things I am thinking.  In fact, there are times when I feel that *I* am writing these things, and not just you."  To me, that is the most profound thought of all.  It means that Oneness IS--and the Reconnections Connection is a collaborative thing that is going on, at some level of the Mass Consciousness.  All I am doing is playing the role of "color announcer" for a shift of consciousness that we are all creating. We're all part of this.  It's magical, and I want more and more of it!

I certainly take my hat off to Leslie and Ellen for the amount of time they spent in making this trip possible.  Leslie went out of her way to set up readings, accomodations, transportation, and so many things that blended together to make our trip super-enjoyable.  A particular blessings was the welcome addition of their dog Fugi--a huge "husky-like" animal (called a malamute, I believe).......who is all white, and filled with love and energy.  He made me think of that wolf in the movie "Dances With Wolves."  I miss him already.  I miss them all.

Of course, no trip to the Big Apple would be complete without regular infusions of good New York Deli.  My friend Nina loves Pastrami Sandwiches, while I am partial to Beef Brisket on Jewish Rye.  Dill pickles, cole slaw, and knishes are an experience that is not to be missed.  Our favorite spot for dining was located at 89th and Broadway, and it was called "Artie's Delicatessen."  Very neat, and just a few blocks from Zabar's--where the heavy-duty cooking gets done for Manhattan.

Our journey also included a trip to Greenwich Village, and a night of jazz at the Blue-Note Cafe.  The Village is full of little coffee shops, and we tried our share of them, as we talked over the things we were learning on the trip.  Also included was a (freezing) tour through Central Park, in a horse-drawn carriage, a drink at The New York Plaza Hotel, a trip to Sak's Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center (where the big Christmas Tree is, and people ice skate on a rink outside the building).  A tour of NBC Studios allowed us to check out a rehearsal for an upcoming segment of Saturday Night Live, starring Colin Ferrell.  Colin was there, and we got to watch them go through some dance numbers on the stage below.

It was a grand time, and I hope it won't be the last.  There is talk of some continuing East Coast Work in these areas.  For now, however, I am getting back to the Clinic, and seeing clients again in beautiful Seattle.  I'll have both sons home for the holidays, and lots of things to talk over with Joe, about the sights we saw and the energy that runs through that Naked City of sights, sounds, and New York Cheesecake!

Chehala Selah.  We have some bright new energies to add to The Crystal City back home.  How fun.
