As was explained in depth, in "The Situation Room" on November 5, CNN Sr. Vice President David Bohrman perfected---literally at the last minute---a new form of reporting technology very reminiscent of the Sci-Fi Genius of George Lucas.
In the first trial run, Wolf Blitzer interviews reporter Jessica Yellin, who is "beamed up" into the CNN Newsroom through usage of technology which technies call "The Transporter." This new "toy," very similar to the communication system used in several Star Wars movies---between SITH Lords and Jedi Masters alike---is made up of a sophisticated conglomeration of 40 cameras, stationed in a "green room" circle......at the site of breaking news.......and broadcast to the CNN Newsroom for a life-like holographic "Interview"......minus the distractions of the locality where the news occurs.
Besides Yellin, the first usage of the "Transporter" also featured Rapper Will-i-Yam......interviewed by Anderson Cooper. The Force was STRONG with this station, who boasted the #1 position with viewers from 9pm to midnight during the election. Well deserved, from what I could see. As Obi-Wan once said to Luke, we now say to America: "You've taken your first step into a MUCH LARGER WORLD." S'about time!!!!
