These times of Energy Activation are powerful, indeed.  There are periods in my life when I find myself soaring high into the heavens, jubilant and free, dancing on beams of pure sunlight.  There are also times when I sense my soul needing to go deep down, into the catacombs--where the air is still, and the pungent smell of soil is deep and rich. It is here where shadows dwell, and underground streams move gently by--bound for points unknown, far beneath conscious awareness.

The Reconnections refer to this type of integration as "Phase Shifting,"  a pendulum swing between remaining polarities contained within souls aspiring to Oneness, who move now upon a Transformational Track.  Some Phase Shifts are a dance between the God Self and 3D Consciousness.  Others connect a circuit of awareness between masculine and feminine, prosperity and poverty, dark and light, and a whole host of other relevant dichotomies.

I got a call recently from a friend who has been traveling around the U.S. this summer. She told me that she had just seen the video version of "The Phantom of the Opera," and her soul was singing........and she thought of me.  We have always been able to communicate freely about the "deep, dark" aspects of our natures.  While being very intelligent, social, and interactive by day--she, too, has regular cycles where she goes inward, into "dark nights of the soul"--eagerly exploring the richness and depth that lies within.

We cannot go "up" very far if we are not willing to take the trip "down" as well.  The Reconnection Universe is circular in nature.........a continually expanding SPHERE.  In the The Flower of Life, it paints a picture of "Infinity Symbols," blooming out in all directions.  You can begin this journey by opening up two or more "closed" circuits of energy--allowing an exchange between various aspects of your being.  An "Infinity Symbol" takes two circles of energy, opens them, and feeds them in and through each other--trading vital life force and fresh perspective.

Before this can happen, a person must also have a clear sense of Self, at the First-Person Level.  You can do this by pulling your energies in, close around you, and becoming aware of any subconscious cording, attachment, or "leaks" that have formed in your awareness of self.  It is not uncommon for powerful individuals to form pre-incarnate "contracts" with vampire-like energies, who are brought in to temporarily drain them of divine energy, so they can enjoy Limitation Vacations just a while longer.  And then.......when the time of soul awakening arrives, they cut ties with these relationships, so they can recover that lost power.

The Metaphysical Internet has been filled, for years, with dancing images of Light, Love, and Positive Thinking.  There are those who insist on focusing solely upon those elements, leaving the "darker tone" explorations to others.  There are also those who insist upon focusing entirely upon cold, dreary, harsh realities in life--such as conspiracy, war, death, destruction, and so forth.  They see all "Positive Thinkers" as Pollyanna--whistling in the dark, and spending her focus on "pie in the sky, by and by."

The Oneness Experience is about mixing and mingling ALL ENERGIES--the extremes as well as the moderate tones--into a useful and productive ROUND TABLE of Conscious Influence.  We do not censor voices that appear at the Round Table.  Neither do we allow them to dominate our experience with fitful meanderings, or internal filibusters that delay our process, seeking to convert our Group Soul in allegiance to one "side" of an issue or another.  Within every dance of extremes--across the polarity spectrum--there are energy fragments who interface easily with all others.  We call them "Collaborators."  These are the Children of Oneness, fragments of All That Is who prefer to blend and share, rather than divide and conquer.  This doesn't mean that they don't require sacred space.  They do!   And then, once their internal energies are replenished, it's back to work, and love, and the exercise of special gifts.

One of the most powerful appeals that can be aimed at the Children of Oneness, by Dark/Light Extremists, is the concept:  "I am here, I am part of the Oneness, you MUST accept me."  This type of logic is introduced when certain individuals wish to harness the power and potential of Oneness, for a time, without actually joining it.

Separatists at heart do not wish to merge with the Oneself Core, for the opposing elements who live there (be they dark or light) would permanently stain their purist view of themselves--making it impossible to return to the denials which characterized their former estate.  Instead, they seek to attach themselves to someone who already lives in Oneness, to spy upon the proceedings and bring information and energy back to those who dare not enter the circle.  There is considerable energy produced when the Oneself gathers!   It is a point of attraction for all who watch from their more polarized locations.

Many of us witnessed an example of this type of connection in the recent "Star Wars" movie--where Emperor Palpatine recruited young Annikin Skywalker to be his "student" in the Dark Arts.  In this modern movie myth......there are many timeless principles that can be seen clearly, from a distance, and can be openly discussed.

Many a Dark Lord or Light Master has ultimately been birthed into Conscious Connection with the Oneself through such dealings.  Indeed, this is what Bridge People are all about.  However, the idea "You MUST accept me" often implies an undue amount of focus that is neither useful nor valid.  For each interact, the decision of how far each relationship will go is in the hands of the energy, itself.  Since Bridge People understand the "Three Commitments" well, they will follow their energy as far as necessary, and then move on when it is clear that there are no more integrations that need to occur.

In the above example, taken from the latest "Star Wars" Saga, it is useful to note that the Jedi Knights would ALSO be considered an Extreme Element in the overall equation.  They were described as "selfless," and their orientation was to "use the Force for good."  Wherever differentiation is made between "good" and "evil," there will be a defection away from the Oneself Core.  You're back in polarity now.  Light Masters will often emphasize the need to "lay aside the ego" so that noble aspirations can be accomplished.  But who is it that decides what is "noble" and what is not?  In the movie, it was the Jedi Council.  This situation troubled Anakin, whose family line carried the "Oneness" Gene that would eventually bring balance to the Force.  It took him a few generations to achieve it, however.

Before the Force can be balanced, the Dark Side needs to be integrated (the sides of yourself about which you were unaware, or "in the dark")...........and a truly balanced perspective can be attained.  This process began in Anakin, and continued on through his son, bringing about that which was foreseen.

It is just as possible to be blinded by light as it is to be blinded by darkness.  The concept of "selflessness," sacrifice, and renunciation of ego is as off-balance as those who live their lives from an entirely selfish place.  There is a vast difference between "self-centeredness" and "centeredness in self."   The former state is an implosion of focus, heavily colored by Separation or even Nihilist influence.  Oneness is NOT nihilism, even if nihilism remains present in the Greater Whole.  Being Centered in Self is a personalization and acknowledgement of the Unity in all things--an owning of everything and everyone, AS SELF, within your own perceptual universe.  Since everyone creates his or her personal universe, there is nothing that one person has that can truly dominate over another--except by mutual contract, to achieve a specific experiential goal.

Among the many great symbolisms found in the "The Phantom of the Opera" is an emotional/conceptual SPLIT that is represented by the mask he wears--especially in the newer, musical version.  By dividing the face, vertically, down the middle---the mask suggests two sides of human that lives and moves by day, and another which longs for solitude in the caverns far below the theater.

The leading lady, Christine, is clearly conflicted in her desire for each of her two male suitors.  Notice that the symbolism of "Christ" is at the center of her name.  It reminds one of the split desire felt by the girl Mina, as seen in "Bram Stoker's Dracula," the most recent version.  On some levels, Mina's current personality craves to be reunited with her lost love.  On other levels, she feels pulled to let go of what is gone, and join with what is before her now, in the form of a new husband and lover.

Christine owes much to the Phantom--who has coached her professionally, and trained her well in the musical arts.  But she also longs for Raoul, whose love and light calls to her from halls of affluence and social power.  It also brings to mind a mythological symbolism to Persephone, who was fated to live half the year in the Underworld, with Pluto, and half the year in the light.  It is a dual citizenship, of sorts, which eventually merges entirely to Oneness.  In the story lines of the "Phantom," and "Bram Stoker's Dracula," the dark element gets "killed off" in the end, in order to satisfy a light-oriented public taste.  But really.....that kind of love never dies.  It merely goes underground again, to re-emerge within another context of reality, or to remain forever enshrined in a young girl's heart.

The reference to a "mask" here is analogous to the famous "fig leaf," worn by Adam and Eve in the Garden.  This reference clearly demonstrates that the purpose of the "covering" is to hide the shame of he or she who wears it.  It could be said that a PHYSICAL BODY is a kind of mask as well.  It gives the impression that what is seen of us, in any physical universe, is ALL WE ARE.  "What you see is what you get."  Isn't that how it goes?  And yet, it surely illusion............the ONLY illusion, as The Reconnections clearly teach.

In the "Star Wars" saga, Darth Vader wore a mask.......and was feared by all who came in contact with him.  All men, that is, except his son--who looked beyond the mask and declared:  "I feel the good in you."   Workers of Oneness have that ability, you know.  Our purpose on the Earth is to "bring balance to the Force."  We can look into a face of horror and see its other side as well.  We see life from a holistic perspective--full-spectrum and vibrant! There is viciousness and cruelty, here on Earth.......but there is beauty and harmony as well.  When one is out of balance, we seem to find an ability to invoke its opposite---not to exorcize it, but simply to balance it.  In Oneness, there is no "out."

This, then, is the MUSIC OF THE NIGHT.  It is a reverential acknowledgement of Shadow Elements that exist within the hearts of all humankind: emotion, passion, desire, and also an integration of our innate animal aspects. Many there are who deny these aspects, putting on masks of purity, "normalcy," and goodness---pointing an accusing finger at all who do not conform to their personal definitions of decency.  Such denial merely pours gasoline on already smoldering embers, which eventually grow into those huge fires that are manifesting all over the globe at this time.

The rise and perpetuation of the "12-Step" Movement, beginning with Alcoholics Anonymous and spreading to many other support areas as well (gambling, drugs, compulsive eating), illustrates the cohesiveness and healing power that is generated when individuals gather for the purpose of admitting THE FULL SPECTRUM of who they are---not just the "light/bright stuff."  They introduce themselves at meetings by saying "My name is _________, and I'm an alcoholic (or whatever else needs integration)."  They begin with an admission of weakness, powerlessness, and gather strength from there.

Humankind is only as "sick" as we are secret.  Eventually, the Phantom MUST remove his mask, preferably before he breathes that last breath.  The TRI-UNITY of Humanity is the Animal Nature (primal) on one hand, and the Supernal Nature (divine) we carry as Children of God, Goddess, All That Is.  In the center of that spectrum is a Conceptual BRIDGE which joins these important elements, bringing the Underworld, Heaven, and Earth together again.

In Oneness, we let go of the words "not, but, and however" when we speak.  Those are words of exclusion, tones of denial.  We replace them with words such as "and" and "also."  Yes, we are THIS........but we are also THAT and THAT as well.  We are many things.  Ultimately, we are EVERYTHING!

As the Recons recently put it to me:

"Humanity is entering the Multiverse now.  We are moving through 4D at an astounding rate, stopping along the way to visit any universe that serves our purpose.  In the Multiverse, there are reality contexts with honor and embody everything imaginable, and then some.  There is no such things as NOT in the Multiverse! (How's that for a paradox?) There is only AND...................

Yes, your faces (and souls) are sometimes disfigured.  Bring them to the light.

Yes, your intentions and emotions are not always "pure."  Bring them to the light.

Yes, you are sometimes tired of being responsible, strong, trustworthy, and true.  Bring that to the light as well.

The Light Aspect of Oneness is simply about CONSCIOUS AWARENESS, not adherence to some defined code of conduct.  It recognizes that any definitions of righteousness, beyond the basic principle "Harm no one, do what thou wilt," are the creation of those who need to need to live (for a time) in closely defined reality "boxes," rather than moving freely through fields of infinite possibility.  So be it.  Recognize your limitation and, when you are ready, move beyond it.

Beyond every scar, every traumatic memory, every guilty secret--there exists a Multiplicity of All That Is. An Enduring Freedom DOES NOT COME by accusing, judging, punishing or denying.  Neither is it something you must fight to attain.  It comes from admitting what is, then moving on from there.  Where there is continued strife, there is continued denial of what is.

There is no disagreement in Oneness. There are only varying expressions of the same, one theme. Admit openly who it is that you truly are, and what it is that you truly want, then let the chips fall where they may.  There will be those who revile you, and there will be those who welcome you with open arms.  It may not always seem that way in 3D, but physicality is only part of the picture. The "rest" of the story still remains to be seen."

Reconnection is the place where daylight fades into twilight--where dark nights of the soul bloom again into a new dawn.  Listen to it.  The Music of the Night.  That which we will not admit eventually rules every thought and deed.  There can be no light of day without a corresponding darkness to balance it.  And there is no purity of intention that does not invoke its opposite to challenge and sustain it.  While we spend time and energy, tilting at windmills, a world of ONEDER awaits.  And we will do what we will do until we are done with it. When that time arrives, all we need do is take a look inside.  The "rest" of who we has never been very far from us........just far enough.  And now it is calling us home.

"Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination

Silently the senses abandon their defenses.....

Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your face away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night

Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar
And you'll live as you've never lived before

Softly, deftly, music shall caress you
Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night

Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Let your soul take you where you long to go

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savour each sensation
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
To the harmony which dreams alone can write
The power of the music of the night
