NEWSLETTER:  "The Many Faces of Fear"

RC:  I believe that autists are living in the realm many of Us spiritualists want to get to.
The thing is that autists (at least the "severe" cases) tend to not know how to get back.  That's not necessarily bad, except that it means someOne has to care for "their" body for "them". I used to fear that if I got what I wanted, that is how I would end up.  Now, because of the way, the gentleness and gradualness of My journey, that I can get there (or become aware of being there) and not get totally lost. Thank god for breadcrumbs.

RC:  Daniel   Masterful!  Marvelous job of insightfulness, conciseness and clarity.  Thank You!

A few reflectioins - hopefully I can be as concise and clear -
Dr. Holmes (from U of W ) took Selye's discoveries (GAS) a step further with his experiments which conclude that all stress (Eustress or distress) demands adjustment; thus,
positive or negative stressors demands adjustment and hence can lead to illness or overload of the various systems.  Remember the popular Social Readjustment Scale? A further development comes with the understanding that our various systems (body, mind, emotions, "spirit" ) have different Optimum Stress Levels which can change and fluctuate.  For example, I would guess that you because of your intellectual acuity have a very high optimum stress level (OSL) for new information, ambiguity of data etc; likewise, with regards your spiritual system (for want of a better term) you have few  belief or dogmatic restraints.   In contrast, a right wing fundamentalist has very rigid restraints (multiple seat belts).  Their OSL is almost a flatline.  There is little or no room for ambiguity, change or dissonance.   Lastly and often overlooked is the fact  that the symptoms of "too much" or "too little" stress are often remarkably similar.

RC: I haven't finished reading it all... but the part I did read brings an experience to
mind. I remember when I was still relatively new to the path (maybe 2-3 years into
it) and I was talking with a friend who was both a metaphysician and studying to be
a psychologist. I told him that I was reaching a point where I was afraid to tell
anyone what I was experiencing/seeing/hearing/etc. because if I did they would think
I was crazy. He said something very profound to me at that time and I have since
quoted it to others over the years... "the difference between the psychotic and the
shaman... is the shaman can COME BACK".

That seems very much like what your articles are saying... the way I interpreted his
words was that the shaman knows the difference between "consensual reality" and
"other realities" and can keep track of which one they are in and what "rules" apply
to that place. Or in other words, can know the truth & reality of the other realms,
yet act "normal" enough in 3d to get by. Seems like that's been how I've lived a
lot of my life... kept quiet on a lot I know to be "real" because it doesn't fit
into 3d and I need to "get by".... what a blessing to be in these times so that I
was able (as an adult) to find others are in the same place... we're not alone. :)

Thanks for your messages, they are usually quite helpful.

RC:  Hi Daniel--

I'm going to make a social comment to you- around distress-

I'm gay. I'm sure you know that and I'm pretty sure you don't care.

I'm 55- and since I was 8 years old people keep referring to me as an abomination because of their sorry-assed bible. I'm over it.

We non-heterosexuals have had to build up that shield- as you reference here- but mine blew apart a while back and I have no further tolerance for assholes calling me and abomination. I simply can not deal with it any longer.

Since there's virtually nothing 'they' can do to destroy my life (any further) I've in fact become the abomination they so despise- and when their remarks surface- I step into the picture and shove their words right back down their throats. Truly- I wish I could do more... like...

I don't like existing at this level of rage- but there it is. The only way to clear it is to move it. I'm really tired of that.

What a waste of energy...

JW.

RC:  Thank you, as ever, for the insights you and the reconnections are sharing with us at this time of rapid change.  It can indeed be challenging on all levels of being.  I like to stay informed about what is happening with regard to astral alignments, new Stargate openings, photon levels and how the energies may affect us, via the websites of spiritual teachers such as Dr Meg, Kirael and Karen Bishop.  It is certainly essential, as you point out, to take care of the physical body.  I too, live in that hemisphere where many of us are susceptible to the 'northern gloom'.  We need to learn to be kind to ourselves without seeing it as indulgence.  I have recently supplemented with flaxseed oil and my daughter with fish oils because of our winter skin but these are also good for healthy brain function, whilst we wait for the sun to reappear, and at a time when our grey matter is being recalibrated and expanded at light speed.

I was also guided to take magnesium, having seen this mentioned in one of Dr Meg's channelings.  I read up on the importance of this mineral for optimum chemical functioning of the body and how many in the West may be deficient, leading to various ailments.  Not everyone may require to pop pills but energy imbalances manifest in ways that draw attention to whatever treatments may serve, even if it is just a walk in the woods or time with your pet. (my cat is a very intuitive therapist).  The challenge is of course recognizing what your body is telling you.
