We are now entering a season which is specifically designed to encourage a shifting of values each year. It seems ironic that it should arrive in the midst of a financial holocaust so great that there already exists a list of stores and businesses set to close their doors immediately after the Holiday Season concludes.
As Credit Moguls in ALL financial sectors continue to tighten their purse strings, a resounding tone of "less is more" begins to beam forth in the minds and hearts of consumers. As easily as we all entered the trance state of "I must have this, and this, and that and that......" we slowly begin to crawl forth from our self-created prisons, taking earnest inventories of what it is we TRULY "need" or "want" and what has simply captured our fancy.
A few years back, the Reconnections introduced the term "abbreviance" into our vocabulary. It's first application was in the area of Communication. Basically, usage of the term asks the carrier of a message: "How few words or symbols would you need to use in order to fully communicate your message?" Later, usage of the term was expanded to determine which Core Elements determined prosperity in a person's life. "How few things would you need to possess in order to stay happy?"
If we remember that 3D is only a SMALL PART of who we are in the Multiverse---a playground for detailed sensory experience of various ideas or energies---how much 3D experience is needed before a person will actually BELIEVE in something, or someone, or even in their own creative ability?
As I speak about this, the story of Doubting Thomas comes to mind. You remember him, yes? The only Apostle who would not believe that The Master had risen from the dead until he FELT the spear mark in his side, and saw with his own eyes the nail prints in Jesus' hands. The quintessential SKEPTIC.
And what did Jesus say about Doubting Thomas?
"You have seen and now you believe........BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HAVE NOT SEEN, and yet believe."
For years now, the Guides have been teaching us: "You are EVERYTHING and EVERYONE you see. Your whole world is a mirror of who you are." And many there are who given (mental) assent to this belief. But what happens to us when OWNERSHIP of certain possessions, titles, and financial resources begin to go away? When money that used to be OURS transfers into the hands of "others?" Do we still believe in Oneness at that point? Or do we slip down into Separation Mindset and wallow in despair?
Time is running out. The end of the Mayan Calendar is just 4 years away. Before Earth (as a Collective) can move through "The Eye of the Needle," into the 4th Dimension---we have to be SINGULAR in thought, SINGULAR in our conception of SELF. DUALITY THINKING has to go!
This current financial meltdown is "right on time" to help us make the leap from FEAR to FAITH. Can I still retain "ownership" of my entire universe, even when it appears that "they" have taken ownership away? Will I become BITTER about "them"........even though, deep down, I know that "they" are parts of ME, helping me break my dependence of SEEING and TOUCHING before belief in something can happen?
These are trying times..........glorious times! As we continue to monitor these shifts and changes in WORLD VALUES, as they present themselves, we truly become "Journalists" for All That Is. Pundits, commenting on the Grand Acceleration of the Ages. Personally, I find that prospect incredibly exciting. Your comments and questions are most welcome.
