SOMATIC INHIBITION MECHANISMS

The Reconnections teach that each person on the Earth has come here to experience a Vacation in Limitation.  In order to achieve this, we enlist the help of "Dark Forces" to anchor and hold us in form, so we can have a true 3D Limitation Experience.  These Dark Guides are not evil, per se.... they are just dedicated to keeping us contained.  Sometimes their methods are nurturing (yet firm), and other times they teach us about the intersection of pleasure and pain. 

The two primary mechanisms of containment for the physical body are:

• Hypoxia (inadequate breathing)

• Dehydration (not enough water)

The physical body requires heat to create and sustain metabolism.  Just as a fire cannot ignite without oxygen, the physical body begins to shut down (and cool down) when there is not an adequate supply of oxygen to sustain all its systems.  When this occurs, the shutdown is done systematically, based on "most urgent" systems first.  Many, many physical ailments exist primarily because the individual is under breathing. 

Likewise, just as a car battery cannot ignite itself without water, your physical body has a terrible time functioning without at least 8 glasses of water daily.  More may be required in many cases.  An excellent book on this subject is called "Your Body's Many Cries For Water."  

Other powerful sources of anchoring and containment in 3D are:

• Diet high in carbohydrates, red meat, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and processed foods.
• Usage of certain drugs and medications.
• Addictions, designed to deflect the consciousness away from key personal issues and goals, such as:  alcoholism, drugs, food addictions, sex, work, gambling, etc.
• Dysfunctional Family of Origin issues, which hamper the free expression of self and pursuit of fulfillment of life purpose.  Such individuals are often dogged by the need to save others, or to be saved by them. 
• Disease States and Physical Limitations that are either congenital, or which develop as a result of traumas, deprivations, etc.  These are called "handicaps" (as in the game of golf) by the Reconnections.  Their existence insures that an individual will be kept plenty "busy" until the time of Reconnection is upon him. 
• Many others, as individual life itineraries dictate.
