Why do I get the feeling, in regards to what’s happening in the Middle East, that the United States is like an alcoholic---who, having been “on the wagon” for several months---is about to take that “first drink,” one more time? ~DJ.

We ALL must begin speaking what we know. Do not bother trying to be glib, my friends. Just say what you know. There is always SOMEONE who needs to hear it. Why worry about what you don't know, what you can't comprehend? Just say what you DO know and that alone has power to fill the impending VOID which gathers all about humankind at this fateful time.

The time of "professional mystics" is diminishing. Yes, there will still be teachers, midwives, healers, facilitators...........and yes, they are worthy of their wage. But MYSTICISM..........PURE UNABRIDGED MYSTICISM is dripping now from the ceiling, the window blinds, and Grandma's antique drapes. It's everywhere! We just need to open our eyes, wake up and see it. And those who are of a mind to argue will probably be the most frustrated of all. There's just no energy to argue anymore............

As he finished preparations for his departure, my young friend kept re-iterating, over and over. "People don't have to be clever. There's plenty of variety to go around. If each person just stepped forward and said what he or she knows, the ripple effect in consciousness would be amazing..........." DJ.

"Recognizing and Owning Personal Power"

How many spiritually-awakened folks today find themselves stuck in a dead-end relationship? Particularly with someone who is currently practicing some form of addictive behavior---something which seems destructive to self and to the relationship and/or family? Someone who appears to be spiraling down into personal oblivion? You want to be compassionate. You want to remain loyal, and not abandon someone who once meant a great deal to you. A connection that once held great promise. But things seem to be reaching some sort of boiling point. You are anxious and don’t know what to do.

Could you ever imagine that YOU could be the agitating factor……that YOU could be the “match” keeping this fire ablaze?

We all want to think that dream relationships should last forever. But there are certain dreams which must be curtailed before they turn into nightmares. We mustn’t think of this as failure. In most cases, it simply is a sign of completion, or need for “spaces” in your current definition of “togetherness.”

You have power. Power beyond your imaging. If you’re a Gatekeeper, that power could be multiplied many times over. Sometimes, the unwitting release and presence of power carries consequences. It doesn’t mean we can’t love, or we can’t continue with those we love. When certain signs appear, however, it could mean a bit distance is required. Missing You: Bennett Poinsett

I occasionally like to highlight the lives and transitions of classic Children of the New Earth, as they move through my experience. The old phrase: "Nothing ever dies: It simply changes form and moves on to new purpose" is so applicable to Bennett. His life in physical form was a bit of a struggle. There was just too much of him present to fit into one little body or life context! Like so many of our New Kids, he stirred up lots of energy for his family and friends--as he grappled with perceived injustices and disharmonies we seem to tolerate here on Planet Earth. His questions and strivings for answers took him back to nature, back to the Earth. He lived, for a time, with the Native Americans in Sautee-Nacoochee, GA. In a teepee, out on the land, some of his best writings and songs emerged to instruct and encourage those of us who remain.
